Gyokusen Ceramics is a traditional "Mikawachi" style ceramics and pottery workshop located in Sasebo City, Nagasaki. We specialize in brilliant white porcelain pieces with a main focus on "sukashibori", or translucence created by holes opened into the surface of the porcelain that allow light to shine through. Our works are featured in the workshop as exhibits but are also are available for purchase.
